Glass fiber reinforced plastic
In addition to the non-combustible construction fiber material PT FirstOne, we also offer glass fiber reinforced plastics (GRP). In our group of companies, we develop, design and produce GRP components using modified plastics and appropriate manufacturing technologies.
If required, our FRP components comply with the flame retardancy of EN 45545-2, IMO Resolution MSC.307 (88)-(2010 FTP Code) Annex 1 Part 5, etc. To ensure this, we have appropriate certificates documenting compliance with these standards.
By combining high-quality materials and state-of-the-art technology, we can realize component sizes of up to 20 meters in length. An example of this is the hull of a motorboat, which was developed and manufactured in our company group.
Our GRP components offer numerous advantages over conventional materials. They are lighter, more durable and more resistant to weathering and corrosion. They also offer excellent thermal and acoustic insulation, making them an excellent choice for applications in shipbuilding, aerospace, automotive and many other industries.
